๐๐๐๐ซ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ฌ,
I know this is impossible. I know this is a bloody long shot. But here I am writing to all of you people hoping that this letter reaches you, even if I’m millions of kilometers away from each one of you. But if you do somehow get this letter (god I can only wonder) then I ask for one favor. Please read ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ (if you like the genre Romantasy) because it's breathtaking, astonishing, mesmerizing and so much more.
๐๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ is a fantasy novel that revolves around 2 fierce journalist rivals, Iris Winnow and Roman Kitt, who are battling for the position of “columnist”. All the while, a war between 2 gods from old and deep history, more ruinous than imaginable, is taking place. This stir of unexpected events brings out powerful themes like war, grief, death, happiness, chosen family, and love which are thoroughly explored.
Rebecca Ross’s writing is simply phenomenal, nothing less and so much more. From the first line to the last, she got me hooked. Her writing made the world-building uncomplicated and intriguing all along. It was not only understandable with beautiful similes and metaphors but also has a touch of immaculate poetry that is eye-catching and makes my heart ache in a million unexplainable ways.
When I think of what a good read is, it's when I can't keep the book down because I won't be able to breathe or get any peace of mind without knowing what happens next. It's when both the main characters and side characters have impacted my life and brought this book so high that it touched heaven and took some of it with them. It's when I don't need to wait for a quarter or even half the book to finish to start loving a book because the starting itself got me hooked. It's when the ending has broken my heart like shards of glass on the floor but stitched it back up tenderly with a needle and thread with nothing but hope. It's when I’ve grown with them, wept with them, smiled with them, and healed with them. And this book gave me all of it. All of it.
๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฐ, a true force of nature, is simply so easily applaudable. This 18-year-old girl went to hell and back and then to hell once again. It's truly remarkable how she survived such painful moments without anyone except herself. Even though she suffered immensely, she made it her life’s mission to be selfless and committed to the people she loves. Iris, true to her name, was the rainbow in everyone’s life even when the sun in her own life hid in the dark depths of the sea. She is the inspiration I’d follow my whole life. This girl made me weep like a baby and smile like a proud mom all in one book. I absolutely adore her and with no doubt, I always will. I hope you search for the rainbow within you even in the darkest nights because you deserve this world, you deserve happiness, you deserve everything and more, and don't ever let yourself believe anything otherwise. You're the strongest person I know, and your writing is beautiful!!

๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ญ, a 19-year-old who becomes the missing piece in Iris’s puzzle, the guy that makes her a whole. He went through his life share of trauma and controlling parents who had his future planned for him but Roman gave it all up for Iris. Roman Kitt, you’ve put the standards so high that I don't think I could even date. This boy has proved himself worthy over and over again. From giving up everything to go to war for her to saving her life to just holding her close to let her know she’s not alone. He is the man guys.
๐๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ญ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฐ, their love was divine, like fire and ice, sunrise and sunsets, spring and autumn, salt and sweet. Opposites but perfectly fitting. It was just so fun to see their love grow. From the spites and retorts to the magical words of love. Their relationship was divided into being office rivals and mystery pen pals and never did they fail to engage me from the beginning to the very end. Their love is one of the strongest, fiercest, and most sublime ones I've seen so far.

Attie ♡, that filled the sister role oh my lord, love love her! She is such a vibe and her bond with Iris is so mesmerizing. Marisol ♥︎ was so sweet she treated both of them like her own daughters UGH love her! And Keegan ❀ too for as long as she was there such a boss!!! I want to give all these side characters a HUGE BEAR HUG !!! they have swept my heart away. And finally…Forest, a man I hate just as fast as I liked him. No but WHY? I know you explained but tell me again cause I'm really not getting it. *๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ฌ*
But that shouldn't stop you from reading this book because it truly is Divine.
